The Nelson Public Library provides free library memberships to residents of the City of Nelson, Area F, and South H. Anyone may access the Library to use materials on site and to use computers, internet, and wireless services. People living outside the service area may purchase a membership in lieu of taxes.
Physical Collection
The Library’s physical collection includes books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs and CDs for adults, teens, and children. Online services available 24/7 to Library members include downloadable eBooks and Audiobooks, magazines, and a variety of databases and subscription services accessible with a library membership number.
Library Programs
Regular library programs include children’s storytimes, teen programs, and informational and literary presentations for adults, and partners with the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy (CBAL).
