Options for Book Clubs
Book club sets for BC Libraries
Book Club Sets are available for a 5 week loan period. There are ten copies available for each title listed, in sets of five. For more info, see the regional FAQ here.

- You can check the chart (Book Club Set Availability Chart) for a seven week continuous empty (white) space. The seven weeks is necessary because of the 5 week loan period, and the one week of transit time in the mail at each end.
- We recommend choosing three (3) titles, then contact us for a request. Include preferred dates and number of copies to request (5 or 10).
Nelson Library has many sets of popular titles!
This library also has multiple copies of popular book club titles with a focus on books by Indigenous or local authors. Check our local Book Club Set list for what’s available! Each title can be borrowed as a single copy, or as a set. These books are available for a 5 week loan period.
Book Club Sets for Teens: Check out the Teen Area in the Nelson Library for book club sets. Some sets have five, some have 10, some have 30!
We also have Book Club Sets for Kids – find them in the Children’s Library.

- LitLovers – This website, created by a former college English instructor, offers a number of valuable literary resources, including reading guides, book club ideas, book reviews, and popular book suggestions.
